We celebrated our first anniversary at the Archangel and raised just over £2,000 for Frome Birth Talk, a local charity providing counselling support for new parents, pregnant people and those who have experienced baby loss. Thank you to every dad who came along.
Four local dads - Max, Wayne, Alex and Ben - launched For Dads Sake to give Frome’s dads a space to talk, share advice and build friendships, with a focus on normalising the conversations that too often go unspoken.
Our first official meet-up at the Archangel pub saw more than 20 dads come along for a pint and a chat. No pressure, no agenda - just dads being dads. We’ve been meeting on the first Wednesday of every month since.
